BURNED SIGNAL
BURNED SIGNAL is constructed through saturation, interruption, and sustained pressure. The surface carries dense vertical movement, with color pulled downward under its own weight while fragments, marks, and gestures collide across the field.
Yellows, reds, greens, and darker tones bleed and fracture, creating a visual environment that feels overheated and unstable. Lines drip, smear, and reappear, suggesting transmission that has been distorted rather than lost. Structure attempts to form, but is repeatedly disrupted by excess, gravity, and accumulation.
The work reflects communication after damage. Meaning is present, but scrambled. What remains is residue rather than clarity, evidence rather than message. The painting holds the moment where signal persists even as coherence breaks down.
Process remains visible throughout. Corrections are not concealed. The surface preserves its own interference as part of its form, allowing intensity, noise, and endurance to coexist.
