Claremont Hotel
This piece feels like a place that has absorbed everything that passed through it. Layers build the way memories do in old rooms, overlapping, half erased, and difficult to separate. Color moves in multiple directions at once, like stories crossing paths without resolving into a single narrative.
The surface is built up and scratched back, creating something lived in rather than polished. Warmth, chaos, humor, and decay share the same space. Some shapes repeat and begin to feel familiar, like corners or hallways you have walked through before, while others dissolve before they can be fully placed.
Claremont Hotel is about atmosphere rather than a specific location. It holds the feeling of staying somewhere long enough for it to start staying with you. Nothing is resolved or cleaned up. It remains layered, saturated, and left as it is.
