CORE BREACH
CORE BREACH is an original, one of one abstract painting constructed through layering, interruption, and accumulated gesture.
The surface is dense and saturated, with vertical movement carrying color downward under its own weight. Bright pigments collide with darker fields, while drawn symbols, markings, and fragments of text emerge and disappear across the composition. Nothing settles into a single reading. The painting holds multiple visual registers at once, moving between control and collapse.
At the center, forms suggest a pivot or core, a point around which pressure, color, and motion circulate. The lower portion anchors the work with heavier, cooler tones, while the upper field remains volatile and active, creating tension between grounding and overload.
This piece operates as a record rather than a resolution. Decisions remain visible. Marks are not corrected or concealed. The painting preserves its own history as part of its structure.
This work exists as a singular object.
It will not be reproduced, printed, or repeated.
