DIVIDED SIGNAL
DIVIDED SIGNAL explores separation, interference, and competing internal states. The composition is split by a dark vertical axis that fractures the surface into opposing fields. Color accumulates densely on both sides but behaves differently across the divide, creating contrast without resolution.
On one side, movement feels compressed and restrained. On the other, gesture expands outward, layered and restless. Marks, symbols, and fragments overlap without hierarchy, forming a visual environment where information conflicts rather than settles.
A saturated central mass presses against surrounding structure, suggesting focus under pressure. Lines and shapes attempt connection across the divide, but are interrupted by weight, texture, and repetition. What emerges is not balance, but tension held in place.
The work reflects the experience of receiving mixed signals internally. Direction exists, but is fractured. Meaning is present, but competes with noise. Process remains visible throughout, preserving correction, hesitation, and excess as part of the final form.
