GRAVITY BURN

GRAVITY BURN is built through saturation, descent, and sustained pressure. Color is pulled downward across the surface under its own weight, creating vertical currents that feel driven by gravity rather than intention. The painting moves less through composition than through force.

Bright yellows, reds, greens, and darker tones bleed and collide, forming dense bands that stretch, drip, and fracture. Marks accumulate without hierarchy. Structure attempts to emerge, but is repeatedly overtaken by excess, erosion, and downward pull. What remains is not balance, but endurance under load.

The work reflects intensity after ignition. Heat gives way to collapse. Motion continues even as control dissolves. The surface holds the residue of action rather than its resolution, preserving pressure as evidence rather than clearing it away.

Process remains fully visible. Corrections are not concealed. The painting preserves its own gravity and burn as part of its form, allowing force, accumulation, and persistence to coexist.
